Diving lunch scene

Hey! Wait!!

This is a scene from the "Lunch Performance on Board," a BIGHOLIDAY specialty. The food is cooked right in front of your eyes and then piping hot, and then served one by one with great care. This is the best time to show your concentration during the packed Golden Week.

We prepare 24 servings for the staff, but we have to work quickly and efficiently otherwise the noodles will get soggy! Look at Naruki's eyes in the photo. He can't see anything but the noodles!

Hello, this is the owner.

The hectic Golden Week festival has come to an end without incident, and from tomorrow onwards the mood will calm down a bit. The afterglow of the festival is always a little melancholic. As we on the staff are also Golden Week fans, today we would like to take a look back at the Golden Week celebrations, titled a recap.

The first half of the season was covered in a previous article, so please take a look!

[Sold Out] The last of the Heisei era and the first of the Reiwa era: a massive 10-day holiday!

From the middle to the second half of Golden Week

An unexpected storm started in the afternoon of the fourth day!!!

We were able to dive in the morning, but unfortunately we had to cancel from noon onwards. We wanted to try our best to set sail in the afternoon, but you can't beat nature after all. On the fourth day of Golden Week, I once again realized that these things are also part of diving.

The day after the storm is the perfect day for diving!

Diving lunch break

The initial weather forecast for the week was full of rain predictions from around this time onwards, and I had almost given up on the idea that the rainy season would begin early, but instead of rain, the sun was shining brightly!!

The location of the photo is Super Premier 17 End, which boasts the most beautiful waters of Miyakojima and can now be reached by diving boat from the sea side, which is no longer accessible by car!

The next day, and the day after that, and so on and so forth, until finally it was sunny every day!!

Toriike Pond

[Mini Street Pond]

The water in the pond sparkles in the sunlight, transforming it from an ordinary pond into a "miracle spring"! This is amazing. It's like a super spot overseas.

Miyakojima has many topographical diving points, so both customers and staff are very concerned about the weather. Of course, this is because the quality of the scenery you can see at topographical points varies greatly between sunny and cloudy days.

In reality, there are good times and bad times, but customers always come to the island expecting to have an excellent time.

The guides do their best in the circumstances, sometimes good, sometimes bad, but when the going is at its best, even guides who dive every day get excited along with the diving.

We couldn't be happier that this exquisite experience was available during Golden Week, as 18 guests a day will be able to enjoy this enchanting view.

[Marine Lake]

One customer said that it was his first time seeing a real laser beam, and he was so impressed that he fell in love with this feature. He had no idea the real thing was so beautiful.

Another customer who had just exited the Demon King's Palace in perfect condition was saying things like, "Amazing! Amazing!", and was beaming with smiles on his face as he shared his honest and straightforward thoughts on the boat.

Thank you to everyone who came to visit us

In recent years, Miyakojima has become rapidly more well-known and air travel has improved, so many non-diver tourists are visiting the island, and I hear it is becoming difficult to secure plane tickets and accommodation.

We who live in Miyakojima are not familiar with such things and can only imagine the difficulties they must face.

Even in such circumstances, we have nothing but words of gratitude for our customers who took time off work early on, made travel arrangements, quickly booked their reservations with BIGHOLIDAY, paid higher-than-usual airfares, boarded crowded planes and came to the island to visit us.

Furthermore, the boat, which was enlarged last summer, is now feeling a bit cramped as so many customers come to enjoy the trip every day. All of our staff have been doing their utmost to ensure that all customers can enjoy themselves in a comfortable and relaxed environment, but we may have still not been able to do enough and have caused some inconvenience.

However, if you felt you had a good time, please come and visit us again.

By that time, I hope to be even more empowered than I am now and to be able to provide you with guidance, so from tomorrow I will be able to face the customers in front of me again.

Thank you so much for making every day a festival-like experience.
