Self-introduction & my diving history

Diving Student Internship Program

I'm Saku! I'm a 8-year-old with a striking appearance from Osaka, and I interned at BIGHOLYDAY for two months in August and September. I'm currently a fourth-year university student studying business administration.

Influenced by my father, I got my license when I was in my third year of high school and now I have an Andvance diver. I have about 3 dives under my belt and I'm a resort diver who dives in Ishigaki Island, Palau, and other places about once a year.

Motivation and reason for choosing BIGHOLIDAY

Short-term part-time job at a diving shop

I'd like to tell you why I decided to work at BIGHOLYDAY during my summer vacation.

During my summer vacation in college, I usually spent it working part-time and having fun. I wonder if this year's summer vacation will end up like that too.
I thought, if I'm going to get a part-time job, I might as well go to Miyakojima! So I decided to get a live-in part-time job in Miyakojima.

Since I was going to Miyakojima, I decided to work in the ocean, so I researched all the diving shops in Miyakojima! Among them, I found this one with extremely good reviews, a higher reputation than anywhere else, and a good website.

That's why I decided on BIGHOLYDAY.

What I felt while actually working

Diving shop trainee

While actually working and diving every day, I learned that there are many mundane tasks behind the scenes that I had never seen before, such as cleaning up, preparation, loading and unloading tanks, and typhoon prevention.

I realized that diving was possible thanks to the efforts of these staff members, and I'm grateful for that. I think diving will be even more enjoyable from now on.

At first, I couldn't do anything at all and often wondered what I should do, but with the help of my seniors, I gradually got a grasp of the flow and how to move, and I was able to think about how I should act, which made my work even more enjoyable!

I thought it was a very attractive job, not only because I could dive in the ocean every day, but also because I could have deep connections with many guests and feel their feelings directly.

My thoughts on BIGHOLIDAY

Summer vacation part-time job

What I think about BIGHOLYDAY is that it's a truly wonderful shop where the individuality of each staff member shines through. Each staff member has a different character, and they are all making the most of that character, and everyone is lively and seems to enjoy their work. They are seniors that I really respect.

The hospitality is also top notch!

Starting with a thorough explanation of the ship, point requests, guest care, communication with guests, daily cleaning of the ship, seeing the ship off until it was out of sight, and more, I felt they provided the best hospitality of any shop, and I am truly proud to have worked at BIGHOLYDAY.

If you're going to dive in Miyakojima, I definitely recommend BIGHOLYDAY!!!

Greetings to all the guests we met

I met many guests over the past two months and had many fun conversations with them. I am still inexperienced both in diving and at work, so I received a lot of help from them. Thank you so much! I would be honored to meet you again somewhere.

With the support of so many people, I was able to spend an irreplaceable time.

This time will be a treasure for the rest of my life!!

Thank you so much to everyone at BIGHOLYDAY and all the guests!!
Thank you very much! ! !
