THIS WEEK
This week was a warm one for December. It was mostly sunny and the temperature was high. It was peaceful every day with no cold waves.
On such a perfect day for diving, the thing that concerned me the most was the pumice. It had finally washed up in earnest around the dive point. I managed to avoid it while diving, but if a large amount of it washed up, the dive might have to be canceled.
If you are planning to visit the island, please understand that the event may be canceled depending on the situation.
Although it is a major eruption that occurs once every 100 years, it is also a natural cycle, so we would like to live with it as best we can.
