This week's summary
Hello! This is Totti from BIGHOLIDAY.
The exciting sea conditions that are unique to early spring continue.
This week we're heading out to the exciting new spot, Manta Hospital!
Although I started diving with high spirits, it was a disappointing start with three consecutive misses...
However, on the fourth day, we continued trying without giving up and finally caught the long-awaited manta ray! It really is important to never give up when it comes to the ocean.
Additionally, this week we were able to go on two expeditions to Yabiji, where we encountered a spectacular school of barracudas!
And the best part is the appearance of an extra-large hammerhead shark, which is super rare in Miyakojima.
This was my first experience diving in Miyakojima after 20 years of diving, and I was really excited!
Macro creatures like sea slugs are great, but diving in early spring to chase big fish and schools of fish is the most fun.
If you love wide-angle photography or want to get excited about big things, be sure to come and visit us during this hot BIG HOLIDAY!
