Q&A regarding the schedule on the day
- What time is the meeting or pick-up time on the day?

The schedule for the day will be finalized the day before, taking into consideration irregularities and sea conditions, so we will contact you by phone by 19:00 PM the evening before your reservation.Diving contentPlease check the page.
- Can I dive after arrival?

For flights arriving between around 8am , you can have XNUMX dives are possible in the morning. After that, we do not offer diving tours.
- Will you be going to the shop that morning?

Instead of going to the shop, you will go directly to the rental car or shuttle bus to the port. Please prepare your swimsuit under your clothes in advance.
- Where do you log it?

The dive will be held on the dive boat after returning to port. We will distribute original BIGHOLIDAY point map stickers to be pasted in your own logbook. We ask that you complete your logbook entry on the last day of the trip.
- Is there a pickup area?

- What should I do with my equipment if I'm diving every day?

If you are boarding the next day, your personal equipment will be stored on the boat.
- How long is the boat journey?

It takes about 30 minutes from the port to the main field of Irabu Island and Shimoji Island. Please take sufficient precautions against seasickness, such as taking motion sickness medication.
- Should we go back to the port one by one?

The basic diving style is three dives in a row, with no return to port. If you are prone to seasickness, please take precautions.
- Drinks and lunch?

Please bring your own. If you are renting a car, you will need to bring your own. If you are being picked up and dropped off, you will need to go to a convenience store and purchase your own items there. Of course, you are welcome to prepare your own items in advance.
- What is the earliest time we can disband?

The approximate time is between 15:00 PM and 15:30 PM. The tour will finish after logging in and paying at the port. If you have a busy schedule, please let us know. We will do our best to accommodate you.
Diving Q&A
- Are there toilets on the boat?

There are two flush toilets with washlets. There is also a spacious 110cm x 100cm space where you can change clothes. The room is equipped with a hand washing faucet, extra toilet paper, and sanitary products.
- Can I shower and change clothes?

Showers and changing are available on the boat. Shampoo and other amenities are not provided, so showers and changing are simple.
- Can I have a photo taken by the staff?

We are unable to provide you with any photographs taken by our staff as this would create a difference in service compared to other customers.
- What should I do with my valuables?

We provide a box for each customer to put their belongings in. We ask that you keep your belongings in the box.
- Can you take a photo of me with my own camera or a rental camera?

Of course we will take photos! However, since there will be other customers, we will only take photos at key points.
- I'm worried about setting up the equipment. Is that okay?

Please rest assured. Our staff will be responsible for setting up all equipment and changing tanks. If you would like to set up your own equipment, please let us know.
- It's a commemorative dive, so will there be any events?

We have small celebrations available, so please feel free to request one! We can also help you celebrate for yourself or your buddy!
- Is the diving spot decided in advance?

If the wind is from the south, we head towards Irabu Island, and if the wind is from the north, we head towards Shimoji Island. Diving is always downwind. - Do you have winter clothing available for rental?

- How many people will be diving in one team?

We guide groups of up to six people. We will divide groups based on skill level and preferences. We will accommodate those who are unsure of their skills, those who want to take their time taking photos, and those who want to enjoy the topographical features, so that everyone can enjoy the tour at their own pace.
- Can I request a diving spot?

Requests are welcome! Please fill out the form in the form. It depends on the weather, sea conditions and your skill level on the day, but BIGHOLIDAY values requests. - Can I change the number of dives on the day?

Yes, it is. At BIGHOLIDAY we always have enough tanks for 3 dives per customer. Payment is based on the number of dives you do on the day, so even if you change from 2 dives to 3, or from 3 to 2, you will only be charged for the dives you do.
- I'm planning to go in ○ month. What will the water temperature be like?

- Can I dive during my period?

If you are not feeling particularly unwell, you can use a tampon. Be careful not to let your body get cold after diving. If you have severe menstrual pain, please do not push yourself and ask to cancel.
- Can non-diver friends and family join me on board?

BIGHOLIDAY is a diving specialist store, and in order to allow you to choose your diving spots as you please, we generally ask non-divers who are prone to seasickness to refrain from participating.
- Is smoking allowed on the dive boat? Is smoking prohibited?

We have separate smoking and non-smoking areas. We will explain this on the day, but the first floor is completely non-smoking and the second floor is a smoking area. Please be considerate so that all guests on the boat can enjoy themselves.
- I would like to rent a free camera, but I don't have an SD card.

They are sold at convenience stores (Family Mart) on the island, so please bring your own. 4GB of storage is sufficient. If you are able to prepare one before coming to the island, you can purchase one inexpensively at electronics retailers or online. Please note that if you forget it on the day, you will not be able to use the free rental camera. Take lots of photos of Miyakojima's ocean!

Shop Q&A
- Can I wash my equipment at the shop on the last day?

Unfortunately, we do not have a space for customers to wash their own equipment. If you have your own equipment, you can choose from the following two options.
- Please wash your equipment at your accommodation and take it home with you (major hotels on Miyako Island have equipment washing and drying areas. Please check with your accommodation for details).
- We will take your equipment and have our staff wash and dry it in the shop, then pack it up and send it to you by cash on delivery (this service is used by many customers).
- Can I send the equipment in advance?

We can collect and store your luggage. We will bring it to your boat on the morning of your arrival.

Q&A regarding inquiries and reservations
- When can I make a reservation?

Please make your reservation after your itinerary has been decided to a certain extent. We recommend making your reservation early as reservations tend to fill up quickly during long holidays and weekends.
- I sent a reservation or inquiry form but haven't received a reply.

We will reply within 48 hours. If you do not receive a reply, please check if our reply emails are blocked or in your spam folder. In that case, we apologize for the inconvenience, but please contact us by phone.
- When will the reservation be confirmed?

Once you submit the reservation form, we will reply to you to let you know whether your reservation is accepted or not. If your reservation is accepted, we will attach a URL for entering detailed information, which you will need to submit separately. We will then send you an official reservation confirmation email. This will confirm your reservation.
